Trusting your vibes
I grew up knowing that I lived my life by my feelers, but never really understood what that really meant.  I just knew some of the best decisions in my life I did purely on a hunch.  I just knew that I had to do it, and then I never looked back.  Looking back now, it’s these hunches that have led me to the most beautiful places in my life.  I just knew I had to leave Denver when I was barely 19 years old, to move to a new city that I hardly knew, had no job, no place to live, 2 boxes and clothes and maybe $200.  There was no doubt in my mind that this was the right thing to do.
I used this same unconscious guidance to go to nursing school, which I found to be my passion.  I had no idea what nurses did, but I did it anyway because I trusted my gut. I’ve come to realize that this attribute has gotten me into some really great places and only now am I realizing what this “hunch” stuff is.  A better word for it is intuition.
According to Wikipedia, intuition by definition is an “acquiring of beliefs in ways that bypass ordinary justification.” I’ve been told by people that I am very intuitive, but I have had a hard time believing that this is so.  I’m a Capricorn and I find that I’m very grounded and prefer to plant my butt in reality.  Yet if you asked me why I chose to make some of the biggest decisions in my life that actually panned out, I would say “I just knew I had to.”  But digging deeper, I realize that my hunch, or intuition, is also known as my gut feeling.  This is why it’s so important to listen to our bodies.
Your body is your best and greatest resource for helping you decipher what is true to you and how to listen to your intuitive sense.  I have solved some of my greatest problems by just feeling the sensations in my body. This concept came to me when I read a book by Eugene Gendlin called “Focusing”.  Focusing is a technique in which you focus on a sensation in your body, try to name it based on what you “see” that sensation to look like, and when you name it, it shifts, or goes away.  That then gives you the answer to your problem.  Since I found out about this life changing therapy, I have learned that my intuition works the same way.  You just need to learn to listen to your body, and then find you will be guided to exactly to where you need to be.
One of the many great skills I have learned as a Soul Coach is to help people connect with their intuitive selves.  Through guided meditations as well as the 28 Day Soul Coaching ® program, you will find this sacred voice that knows the answers to ALL of your problems and can help you follow the path that is best for you.
Before I did the program myself (which really changed my life and continues to do so!) I was able to connect to this little voice (A.K.A intuition) through my own meditations.  I have been through lots of therapy and never felt like I really understood what to do.  But when we listen to our intuition, the answers come freely and make more sense than any advice from outside of you.
We know the answers.  Our intuition is a blessed gift that most of us have no idea we even have it!  I used to doubt this in myself, but now I'm a believer.  So now, I sit, and I listen...
