I recently went through a phase where I was obsessing over mediumship, or people who communicate with the dead. I would read one book and have another ready to go in my Amazon check with a single click. I even became a fan of the show "Long Island Medium" even though I normally dislike watching TV.
I knew from past experience that when I wanted to read something to not question it. I did this with books on wealth building as well, even though I really didn't consider myself to have high aspirations with making large amounts of money. I just couldn't seem to put these books down.
Looking back, all of these book were part of a greater plan that was being guided by my intuition, or higher guidance, that we all have. I have learned to follow this curiosity that was driving me without question. Its like some kind of magnetic pull that connects with my third eye, which is my all knowing intuition, and without my conscious awareness, I am being drawn.
I once read a book a while ago on how to open up my third eye and tap into the great inner messages from within. I still remember trying to follow its guidance and feeling silly and ashamed it wasn't working for me. I was determined to hear that voice that seemed different from my own.
Then I tried something so surprisingly simple and lo and behold it worked. I decided to use my imagination a bit to get the ball rolling so to speak and then let it take off from there. This is the premise for visualizations. Give your mind something it can wrap its thoughts around and then see what happens.
This is where my Soul Coaching practice comes in handy. I consider myself a spiritual tour guide. I guide people to a place where they will connect with this spiritual guide and then I set the subconscious loose.
To my amazement and to that of my clients, there is ALWAYS some message being delivered. Very often the entity, once suggested into the scene, will appear and speak freely and from its heart to that of my clients. Very rarely are there any dry eyes in the room.
We ALL have the ability to tap into this magical awareness. I had connected with mine during meditation while I was going through the thick of my divorce. The guidance I received was worth a thousand counseling sessions. In fact, in one sitting I was guided to release a huge amount of pain and baggage that I had been carrying from my ex-husband. I have continued to reap the rewards from that one session.
My clients who have gone through a soul journey had developed an awareness to the deepest issues of their lives. Very often what comes through is exactly what needs to be heard. This is why I love what I do so much!
So if your ever in doubt as to what to do or which way to go, try to tap into that infinite supply of knowledge hidden behind your inner awareness. Take a seat, close your eyes and then believe that there is someone there to help you along the way. Because there is!
